Polish people have taken over my street! The house next door has a couple with a young child living there and sometimes other people too. They are all friends with the other Polish people who live opposite, all work together (have the same uniform) and congregate on the street outside out house. Basically they make the street look and sound like a mess! I know that sounds really snobby but this used to be an upmarket type of street! I think the fact that the houses are 3 storey attracts them cos you can fit lots of them in one house.
Anyway, my problem is last night the neighbours had a noisy party. They parked on our drive all night and spent alot of the time in the garden talking really loudly and fondling each other. I could have coped with that but it was 2-4 men who were sat at the table fondling each others bits through their jeans!! Seriously they really were. Not only is this sick, it was very annoying listening to them. They all rent the houses and the street is managed by a company who we pay maintenance to. Shall I report it to them? If not then who?

Oh wow, I'm not sure where to start with your post! Is this a wind up? Are you being serious? On the off chance that you are...

Basically they make the street look and sound like a mess! People talking, passing the time of the day with their work collegues, neighbours and friends is making your street look a mess????

Anyway, my problem is last night the neighbours had a noisy party., it was a Saturday night, alot of people have parties on Saturdays. Sure it might have annoyed you, but if it was a one off, I'd let it go.

I could have coped with that but it was 2-4 men who were sat at the table fondling each others bits through their jeans!!- exactly how long were you looking (read spying) on them for?

Not only is this sick, - why? would you be equally disgusted if they were men and women?

The only thing you could really take exception to is them parking on your driveway but it is a bit late now. I would leave alone as you don't want to cause trouble with your neighbours do you?

Not sure what the management company can do? Do you have a clause in the contract that says you can't meet on the street or have parties?
"Polish people haved taken over MY STREET"

Well, if you own it why not order them out of it?

Or else, why not go and have a chat to them? A few of them probably speak some English. Perhaps this is the way of things in Poland? I don't know, but they may actually be nice people. But you'll never find out if you don't try to communicate with them.

What would you do if they were English speakers? Probably have a word with them. Try it, it might work.
2-4 men? If you couldn't tell how many there were you did well to see so clearly what they were doing/

They have taken over the street. Are there only three houses on this street then?

It may be worth having a quiet word though about parking on your drive.
Learn some Polish and go say hello, maybe they will invite you next time.
Please tell me this is wind up tigwig, I haven't laughed so much for years, you should be on telly.
I think I hear steam coming out of tigwig's ears!
i get the same problem on my street , bloody foreigners!
There are lots of foreigners in our village and they are very friendly.

Tigwig how could you see what they were doing? Did you have your telescope on them?
If this isn't a joke, then I agree with paraffin. Have a word with your neighbours and tell them that you don't want people parking on your driveway. Then ask if you can be invited to their next party!
We have some Polish friends, and they're very decent and pleasant people - also extremely hospitable.
but they probably do drink too much and get very roudy

Its not a joke I was serious!!! Reading that back it did sound a bit awful didn't it? I suppose my point was it wasn't very nice to look out of the window (as you do) and see men sat at the table fondling each others genitals.
I may be old fashioned but I have nothing against gay people really , I just prefer not to see what they are up to!
I was annoyed at them parking on the drive and when they congregate on the street they stand right outside our window, next to the car and have the cheek to rest their plastic bags on the bonnet of the car while they are smoking. Then they throw the butt ends in my garden so you can see my point?!
tigwig:

Yes, everyone has "a point". But, to repeat myself, why not go and speak to them?

Were the roles reversed and the first thing you knew was a Police Officer or some other type of official landing on your doorstep out of the blue with a complaint on behalf of one of your neighbours, how would you feel?

Instead of whingeing on here, go and say hello to them. I'll bet they don't even bite !!!
hmmm, if you prefer not to see, then dont look is the easiest solution

Oh I know bednobs but I couldn't help it! Whilst I was waiting for Mr Tigwig to use the loo in our bedroom, I casually looked out of the window and couldn't believe what I was seeing! I mean I had had a few glasses of wine but not that much. What would you think if you saw 2 men groping each other then are joined by other couples, 2 more men and a man and a woman? I think they were having an orgy! But where's the kid in all this? I forgot to mention they have a 1 yr old as well and I have spoken to them previously and they were nice its just the company they keep that concerns me! (especially when they park on my drive)
