my ex is due to go to court tomorrow for assaulting me, there was no witnesses only me an i have been dismised from court, there is medical evedence an a police statment who came to c me in hosp an a docters statement who seen me in the hosp an my statement against his, now wat i would like to no is do these statements an medical records get red out an shown in court in front of everyone

no i was wondering because i would prefer that they get red out as the doctors an police statments are for me so i would rather them i was jus woundering if they would coz i no when i asked if i could no wat was on the doctors state they sed its confordental an couldnt tell me

Yes, unfortunately, it is inevitable that any witness statements would be read out to the Court if they form part of the prosecution case against the defendant.

I'm assuming that the hearing is at Magistrates Court? If so, members of the public would be allowed in, plus local reporters as well unless, for whatever reason, the case was being heard "in camera" (in private), which I also assume it isn't?

yes it does thank u paraffin x he triped him self up in court the sargent that went sed he was trying to say he wasnt guilty an that he was provoked but in the end he did himself no favours an tripped himself up an had to pleed guilty and admit wat he done an that he wasnt provoked, yet he is still not addmitting to biteing me but the sargent sed the magerstrates have known wats gone on by my medical reports an by his lying in court
so he is due back for sentencing on the 14 may, they sed he is being charged with two sections of 39 insted of just the one, y is this ???
an does any one no the likely out come this is his first affence or run in with the police ???
