why does ex need unilateral notice
why does my ex husband need to put a unilateral notice on the property ... there is a court order in place saying house much he is to recieve from the sale...my name is on the deeds not his...there is a sale going through but no exchange of contracts yet, will this delay the sale? should i agree to this? thanks

As long as both of you are happy to be selling and the amount owed is less than the sale value, it shouldn't delay things.
It will obviously show up when a search is done by your buyer. I don't think the amount is stated though, although I may be wrong. So make sure your Solicitor is briefed to clarify the situation with the buyer's Solicitor.
