Just like to say thanks for the info on the 'Gas Safety Regulations' which i asked about last month. My landlord has now had my appliances checked (by a CORGI registered engineer) & i have copy of certificate!

Not sure how relevant this is but CORGI ceased to exist from 1st April 2009. From that date anyone carrying out work on gas in Great Britain and the Isle of Man must be registered with Gas Safe Register. If not, they are breaking the law.

Thanks Kempie. Didn't know about this site so i have contacted them as i didn't get shown any card by the engineer. I only got 'pink' copy of certificate with his 'Corgi Reg No.
