We moved house five years ago, we have a mortgage. Can anyone tell me where our house deeds will be stored. Don't recall solicitor mentioning anything about it at time and have not really thought about it till now. Are they held at Building society until mortgage paid off or where? thanks to anyone who can help me.

Building Society would have them.
The building society will more than likely hold them...
You can pay too obtain a copy of them....I ordered a copy of my deeds a few days ago...
The charge was 35 for the first 30 pages...and the 20p for every other page after that.
If your land is registered with the Land Registry, deeds are irrelevant because the master record is held by LR.
You can check for free whether your land is registered here and, if it is, it costs only 3 for a copy of the title register plus another 3 for the title plan.
