I don't know how complicated the circumstances of the accident are or why the meeting has been put back from Friday to Tuesay, but it's important it is investigated fully and that all the relevant people can be consulted and involved in the meeting. A week doesn't seem particularly long. I assume you are suspended on full pay. I know it's a worry but I think you will have to go along with these timescales.
