Living together
Hi all, me and my partner have been seeing each other for 18 month now and recently lived in together in her house which she owns. We were planned to get married at the end of july but she called it off as she was scared of losing her home if the marrage went wrong. We looked at a pre nup and a living together arrangement but she still wasnt happy as these arent rock solid. I have suggested living together but not getting married as then i wouldnt be entiled to anything but she still wont have it. Is there anything i can do to make her happy so that she knows she wont lose here home and any eventuality. Thanks

The only alternative seems for YOU to provide a home, let her sell her own place and keep the money in the bank in case of future "eventualities".
You've offered to do everything you can, and it seems that the possibility of losing her house means more to her than being in love and wanting to settle down with you. I hope that's not the case, but if you re-read your post, that's what it sounds like.
As Mrs. Pegasus says, suggest seeing if a solicitor can draw anything up, and if your partner still objects - it looks like a no-no.
