Crown Court Commital Farce
0 Answers
End of May was arrested and charged with two crimes which I am pleading not guilty. Commital to Crown Court hearing was on 21st July but CPS saw something in Police case they did not like as Police with held vital info that may help me in my defence. CPS asked for 28 day adjurnment, originally my Solicitor was arguing for only 14 days then without telling me he agreed to six weeks but the court gave the direction that commital papers should be served within 14 days by Aug 18th (yesterday).
The CPS have said today that their papers are still not ready thus breaking the direction given by the court.
Where does this leave me - can the CPS do that or is there some complaint I can make?
