Refund Law - Cancelled Events
I recently paid nearly 400 in cash for 4 tickets to beachdown festival, which today, at three days notice, has been cancelled by the organisers.
As always, they have provided very limited information re. refunds, advising all ticket holders to contact the outlet they purchased them from in the first instance.
Can anyone advise what is the law surrounding events like this? I understand that if you pay with a credit card, you are protected, but what about the many people who paid with cash at a local outlet, and hold a physical ticket?
