It depends on the type of prison I should imagine. I live near an open prison where the inmates get to have TVs in their cells and are allowed out to work or college every day, some also go home at weekends.
I knew a fella a long time ago who was in a high security prison who spent 23hrs a day in his cell, only coming out for exercise.

I suspect it's more likely due to a loose nut behind they keyboard than censorship TWR.
Why do you think that? have you been in one?
Given the current state of overcrowding in prisons and the time spent locked up that seems unlikely to me unless perhaps you are refering to special cases like open prisons or young offender institutions.
The descriptions on here from people who have been inside certainly do not resemble a holiday camp in any way shape or form.

Jake the peg, there is no loose nut behind the keyboard but a person that does not reply Bullshit answers only the truth, Yes I have been in one! delivering steel for these people to make wheelbarrows, live in a real world Jake, you mean to tell me its right that an OAP decides whether to eat or put the heating on when all they have done is try and live? and yet the people that go into prisons get treated as if they are in a Holiday camp with their DVDs, TVs, Gyms. you tell me that's right & I'll apologize.

Thank you wizard - I hope id didn't impose in posting the link, it's just that people brave and articulate enough to give first hand accounts are few and far between.
I have a great respect for your willingness to talk about it
Consequently most people are limited in our understanding to what we see on the media or when we're delivering wheel barrows.
TWR - I don't know what you posted in your missing post but unless you were specifically offensive to an individual or tried to name someone I can't see why the Ed would have censored you. Much more probable that it was technical. Either on your side or an ISP error or the (sometimes flakey) AB website.
