I read somewhere recently that a secretary after a call of nature returned to her computer to find to
everybody's amusement that everything on her screen had turned upside down, this was said to be
a common office prank by her co workers, but how is it done ?
The prank we used to like was to take a screenshot of the victiim's desktop, then post it as their wallpaper. Hide their icons then watch and laugh as they try to click on icons that don't do anything. Oh the fun we have :-)
Classic one is to change the buttons on the mouse so they work the other way (it's for left handers). Easy to alter and easy to change back, but frustrating if you don't know it's been done.
>Quite why anyone would want to do this apart from a prank baffles me.
Some TFT screens can be rotated (the physical screen), so on a widescreen TFT you can rotate Windows to be "portrait" shape rather than "landscape" to fit a rotated screen.
I guess on a laptop you may want to rotate a screen to show someone something or give a demo (save them looking over your shoulder).
yeah we used to take the wee ball out of the mouse and swap loads of keys around haaa!!
also calling phones or leaving messages for them to call pretend customers- such as the number for the local zoo asking for mr g raffe
haha oh good times however childish! :0P x
