They have now come across this review and a member of staff actually knocked the door of a member of our party to have a go at her. She was extremely unpleasent to her and told her if she doesnt remove the comment then she will be barred from the establishment, may i stress it was not her thsat wrote that comment and it is clear to see as MY name comes up on it. Anyway she having nothing but hassle from these people now and its obviously distressing her. Is this harrassment? surely you would think if you get a negetive comment, you take it on the chin and sort yourselves out bit this isnt the case with them.

Keep a record of all that happens , have a word with the local police, get intouch by writing to the head office of the pub chain, outlining what is going on , keep a copy of all letters and so on. wish you a good outcome.

Or get a very large man to answer the door and ask politely what they want, and then tell them politely (while sqaring up) to not call again...

ive told her so many times to tell them that if they want to talk about it then to send them my way and i will discuss it, but im yet to hear off them! its got to the point that im going to pay THEM a visit. i cant believe how unprofessional they are being about it, they lack customer and communicational skills, they cant take critism and there being bullies now. the thing is with this girl is that shes a pushover and shes very sensitive to the point that shes begging me to remove the review just so they stop going on, but im not going to do that, why should i, i only gave my opinion.

its not only that but my name is even shown on the report, so what on earth do they think they are going to gain by targeting her is beyond me

Explain what is happening on their website and make clear it was not your friend.

Is it a wise thing to do to seek face to face confrontation---I don't perhaps think so. Matters can escalate to a dangerous point and I think you would be better not to. you have other avenues you can follow to put an end to this.Please be careful.

get onto head office and talk to them, tell them that you will be going to the police if it doesn;t stiop and that you will be contacting local press as well.

im not sure how to paste it onto here, but i basically said on it that the staff were rude and hostile towards us from the start and made us feel so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving before we finished our meals because of it. I also gave examples of this.
