Taxi drivers licences are subjected to an enhanced criminal records chek, because anyone could be gettig into a taxi such as a young person or vulnerable adults.
I do agree with the others. Taxi drivers have to have clean records, or at least a good excuse for maybe the one minor offence a long time ago.
However, the offences you describe happened a short time ago, and you were also put in prison because you were deemed to be a risk to the public.
When I say a long time ago ad mean about 15 to 20 years.
Also, you say that you don't know how the drugs got into your car, when then on earth did you accept the caution? Thereby admitting your guilt to this offence. Surely if you had nothing to do with the drugs then you would have not accepted the caution, maintaining your innocence and have gone to court and let the jury decide.
he fact that you claim to have no knowledge about the heroin won't be taken into account as you have admitted guilt anyway.
It is a drugs offence, you won't get a licence. You also had 8 points on your licence.
Sorry to say that you will not get any licence.
