I certainly would query this, they should last at least a week especially if they were pricey.
Definitely take them back to the shop. Did you look after them properly, ie not put them on top of a radiator?
if they were fine and gorgeous yesterday and dying today then the fault is most likley with you...mishandling, near heat, a draft etc etc

flowers dont just instantly go from gorgeous to dead overnight for no reason
Recut stems and put in fresh cold water asap .. deep water.
Roses can get a bubble of air in the stem, so recut, put ends in boiling water for a sec, then in water.
Sound like thermal shock tho.
I bought a bunch of ten red roses inTescos on Friday and they are still blooming and georgous, I admire them every morning, cost £5.
It does say on the flower packaging that they are guaranteed to last 7 days. I hope mine do as the are a joy.
it will prob cost you more in petrol than the flowers r worth
Have you got your central heating up too high?
I did the same as oscarina and bought the missus a £5 bunch of roses from tesco on saturday and they are still blooming

If you cut the stems and put some lemonade in the vase it helps
Maybe the love has died and the flowers have picked up on this...
