my partner is legally seperated and was when i met him his ex wife is now divorcing him on the grounds of adultry. Is it still adultry if legally seperated?
yes, but it doesn't matter: adultery is no longer grounds for divorce. Marriage breakdown is the only grounds. Adultery may provide evidence of the breakdown, but the separation is much stronger evidence, so I don't know why she's bothering (revenge maybe?). As redcrx says, it makes no difference.
