Thanks for your comments. It isn't a scheme. Foreigners have to have a 25% + deposit to purchase a property abroad(its pretty standard), she still gets credit scored on only her income. If we had enough money between us for a deposit then i guess we would both go on the mortgage in Poland, so there's no 'jumping on' the ladder. Turning it around the other way ,if I was the sole person with the mortgage under my name in the UK, why couldn't we set up a cohabiting agreement where she gets half separate to the mortgage deed. The relevant point is there is quite alot of info available on UK 'co-habiting agreements but im not sure how binding it would be when relating to property rights abroad. Probably best I seek Polish solicitors advise but thought this site would be a good place to start for 'free'.
