Whilst I was looking out of my lounge window this morning, I saw a large car pull up at the end of my drive. The driver held up a camera, took a picture of the house and the drive and then drove off.
My daughter, who was returning from a run said that she saw a car driving slowly up the road, pass our house and then turn round to obviously take the picture.
Anyone have any ideas what it could have been for and is it sinister?
I wasn't sure where to post this.
JJ you can come and photograph my car if it makes you feel better - Crust of Seagull Sh1t - Seagull Crumble on the roof....I can't wait until the babies start flying and it goes sardine coloured.
i went to the trouble of arranging to visit the house I was born in on the pretext of being a potential buyer when it went up or sale a few years ago, my Godmother sent me the newspaper advert and i rasng and made an appointment, i took my camcorder and a camera and had a complete tour of the house and land, I left there when i was 4 and so did not really remember much except the long dark hall, but it was an opportunity I just could not miss,
It may well have been someone taking a picture because they wanted to ... !
You have a right to take images, subject to exceptions relating to Official Secrets Act.
Under Human Rights legislation, there is 'Freedom of Expression' and you are exercising that freedom.
It still seemed odd alhavahalf and I just happened to walk into my lounge whilst it was going on, I'm not a "curtain Twitcher". All I can see from my lounge is the road and the field opposite as we have high hedges around the garden.
Chrissa, I have just been reminded by others on here that not long ago we got a letter from an Estate Agent, as did a couple of our neighbours that they had clients who were looking for properties in the area like ours and if we wanted to sell they would be interested. So it could be a very simple explanation why photos were being taken.
Well, well well Loftie, you've solved the mystery. After I read your posting I had a look through some junk mail we had received and there it was, a card from a local Estate Agent saying they had clients interested in propertys in our village. The car he was driving was a posh one, so that must have been it. Ha Ha!!!!
I am glad that I was able to help. I suddenly thought about it. Great news and you can sleep well in your bed now knowing your joint isn't being sized up!! :o)
