my dad was killed in jan 2010 and im still waiting on the crown charging this woman ,do they realise what me and my family are going thru i got .I got letter yesterday threatning me with court due to dads funeral bill . sickening

Have you spoken to the funeral directors to offer any payment?

The court case is your focus by the sound of it but things do need to move on around that. Is there anyone who can help you with the funeral expenses? did you dad not leave any provisions?

BOO, perhaps Harv is desperate for money to pay the funeral bill! Life has to go on.

Harv, as Redcrx says talk to the Funeral Directors and then contact the Citizens Advice Bureau to ask their advice. There is help available for funeral expenses.

Maybe they are highlighting what they think is an injustice that they are being threatened with court when the CPS still haven't brought charges over the death?

Some people on low income benefits can get help with funeral costs but I'm not sure if it applies and whether you are still in time as you only have 3 months to apply after the funeral.

Are your family hoping for some sort of compensation to pay for the funeral expenses , Even if the driver is charged you can't predict what the outcome will be so you probably need to make some sort of interim arrangement with the funeral director, National debtline are very helpful.
