ok so I had to copy and paste last thing yesterday an item of text i would ideally like to get the text back without having to remember it all from memory this sounds like a stupid question and everyone is going to say 'course not you fool..'. but do previous copy and pastes get saved any where and if so how do a get it back, it was when typing online on a website so it did give me any 'clip board' options.

Thanks in advance

ClipX http://www.bluemars.org/clipx/ is a v useful clipboard manager that I use. It works on Windows XP, don't know about other OS's..

oh right
I don't believe they are normally saved, unless you are running an application specifically to do so. But that said, when in an Office application, hitting countrol C a number of times seems to open up a window on the right of the screen which does hold past copies. Probably depends on what version Office though. And it doesn't hold anything prior to when the window is opened.
