can you appeal against an assault charge 19 months on if you feel you were not represented correctly by your legal team ???

what are the details
did you get found guilty - you say "charge"
19 months would suggest guilty, an appeal can be logged, i assume the sentence was from the crown court, could only be crown if its 19 months

yh was found guilty.
very complicated case as the other party involved has pleaded guilty for harassement and admited things that they denined in my case !!
so if you got 19 months are you in jail now
19 months is a severe, do you have previous, were any weapons used
He doesn't say he did 19 months in prison, just that it happened 19 months ago.... at least that is how I read it.
Goodwin didn't say it was a 19 month sentence, just that it was 19 months ago.
To base an appeal on the grounds that your legal team were incompetent rings a bell. Anyone remember 'The Dock Brief'?

no was not sent to prision got a condition disgarge 1st offence.

did you plead guilty or were you found guilty at trial?

if your legal team got you a conditional discharge, I'd say they'd done quite well. it doesn't get any lower than that.
