Is it possible to grow a Cherry Blossom tree from a cutting?
I have been trying to grow a cherry blossom tree from a cutting for a while but i don't think it's been working. Can anyone help me with this?
Answers
Yes it is possible. Get some rooting powder from your agriculture or garden shop and apply it to the part that's going in the ground, then plant.

Possible yes though it may not grow "true". You will need lots of patience as most tree cuttings take anything up to 18 months to root before you can plant them out. The strike rate is also very variable depending on the strength of the stock, the soil, the weather, etc. so try as many cuttings as you can squeeze in the space, you can always chuck them if they all root or flog them on ebay.
