1 Answers
I recently had a fire and it burnt out my kitchen completly plus lounge carpet write of and whole house to be washed and redecoratedbecause of smoke damage. All my clothing bedding and curtaiins have gone to the midlands for cleaning.
Mproble at the present is making a list of the kitchen items, I do not want to appear greedy or scrouge like but I have dozens of small items not much money but the lot will amout up such as slippers frying pans oven gloves the list just goes on and on Welling boots full of water nowhere to dry them.
I was quite a keen cook and had a cupboardb full of spices herbs etsin cluding small gadgets. After the fire I was left nothing not even a pinch of salt pepper not a drop of vinegar . Do I claim for these small items if so How do I value it, would you know how many oxo cubes were in the jar as an example.
I am just about at my wits end and now living in a caravan with dog and 4 cats and not enough spase to to stre all my clothes. Any help will be appriciated
