How do i go about emancipating myself from my mum?

I would like to be emancipated from my mum how do i do this and is it a good opption for me as a 16 going on 17 year old? this leads on from my last question.

what country are you in? if uk, you don't need to, you can simply walk out and not look back can't you?

i have a long and bad history with social services so my mum wont let me leave, and same with social services. if you look at my profile you will see my other question ok then you can proberly help me i hope :-) xxx

Did you contact any of the agencies given to you in your last thread ?

Your mum can't stop you leaving. Social Services probably can so you have to persuade them to let you. Convince them that the alternatives you propose to them as to what you are going to do are a good idea.

It's not a good option as most responses to your previous question said. In fact a good chance of you landing up dead within a few years.

yes i looked at the link that you sent jackthehat it was very helpful i am thinking of takeing that a bit futher and enqwiering about what they have to offer. and i must say dzug2 i will not end up dead, i have some were to go and good people to stay with, they know me very well and know i will do my share and anything i am asked of so long as i have a roof over my head away from my mum then i am happy :-) xxx

Then you need to convince Social Services that these people you are going to stay with are good for you.
