Where are you in a 3rd world country?
minimum working temp for a sedentary job is (i think) 16 degrees.

You pour water in the pan
When I was at work the temperature was supposed to be 61 degrees (don't know what that is in current language) after you had been there for an hour. Don't know what the law is now, but don't think it has changed that much.

Haha no!! Exactly!! The pipes are all exposed too!! Horrible believe it or not its the mosy expensive salon around here.. "snorts" x
If it's a tanning salon, surely you wont have many customers ? Who will want to get a spray tan in sub-zero temperatures lol ??
it should be at least 16*c according to this site http://www.hse.gov.uk.../faqs/temperature.htm else it's illegal unless you work in certain places for example an indoor ski slope . . .
You usually find in these high class establishments that the front where the customers are dealt with have all the best features heat and decor and in the workers part it's left to rot. Disgusting it is.
Tinkerbell, have a read of this - it answers your questions about the temperature and the toilet not flushing. Both contravening Health & Safety Regulations.......... http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg244.pdf
Can't you just slip in a booth every now and then to thaw out?

I done that as there was some in kettle but didnt flush!!? Aww i have no theremometer ... Its always kinda cold im ok now cos i have the small heater about 1 inch away fom my feet and two layers on! Had a few customers too so thr sunbeds throw some heat! I stick em on sometimes too x
On
But who do you complain to, and will they take any notice? It's a no-win situation.
lots of breaches of health and safety, read the employers duty of care in practice.

Tinkerbell have an "Accident" and sue them and take them to the cleaners!
(Just joking that's deception and perjury i think and you could go to prison for it)
Question Author
Hahahah funny enough! Theres no accident!! And apart fom font door theres no fire escape! Xx
I'm pretty sure that's illegal. A little while ago two women were trapped in a pawn shop I think and the fire exit was welded shut and they burnt to death!

Iv just been told to run to pub round corner if i need loo its friggn minus two aargh! Thnks for advice all x
If there was no water constantly going down the toilet I'd be a little worried about rats coming up the u-bend! Get some legal advice from the cab because it doesn't sound fair where you work especially with the looming Arctic winter on its way to us.
Go home - thats ridiculous! It should be a comfy 16 degrees c at least... and the water should be poured down the loo by your manager while they await the plumber and heating engineer!
