Those gays and the hotel law suit

Do you think the outcome of the sueing by those two gay men against the christian hotel owners would have been the same if the hotel owners were of a different religion (that's equally against homosexuality) such as Islam?

I am fully aware of the vitriol that some posters use to argue their points - indeed i have been on the receiving end of some in my time.

I accept the cut and thrust of debate with anyone, and indeed AOG and I have crossed intellectual swords on numerous occasions.

That said, I have never received a four-letter epithet aimed specifically at me personally, and as my posts indicate, I will not accept it.

Attack my points by all means anyone, but attacking me brings a necessary response.

From experience sandyoe, threads have an in-built shelf life.

Even the most hotly debated threads eventually run out of steam, and simply stop.

I suspect this one is near to that stage - and of course people will move on to fresh debates - 'tis the nature of the AB.
