after some moron pranged my car last year, 100% his fault, my insurers still tell me he has not admitted liability and still has not told his insurance company. It is getting on for 3 months now, what is the next course of action ? Should I phone the third party myself and ask him to pay up - I just want my car fixed....but not sure what to do for the best to hurry this along.

Are you fully comp? in which case I agree with bednobs, getting your car repaired so not be a problem, your insurers should pay then recover the costs. It's the not telling his insurance company which I would worry about - your insurers should be writing to him direct by now, and putting some pressure on. Are you sure that he is/was insured?
Yes I have all the third party's insurance / contact details, i was stationery at a pedestrian crossing in a car park and he was driving towards me in the opposite direction and turned right, overshot the turning and hit my rear..i have a witness, i can get my car repaired but i have to pay my excess first, my insurers keep contacting him and his insurers who have said he has not reported it...i am fully comp. I rang my inserers last week and they just keep telling me they are waiting for him to admit liablity....grrrrrrrrr..i dont understand what the problem is and why it is dragging on and on.
