I recent;y gave a statement of a domestic abuse incident, which i heard from a neighbours property, i now feel that the statement which i have given i no longer want to give, it is not that any of it was untrue. it's just that i have had to listen to the domestic noise from the neighbours for over 1 year and half they are constantly arguing and fighting splitting up and getting back together, and don't wan't to be made out to be the bad person when they get back togoether which i guarantee they will. As far as i'm aware the male in question has appeared at court and has been held on remand, can i withdraw my statement and if so can i suffer any legal consequences by doing this.
