I would not be surprised if she doesn't get David to ask Prince William and Kate to be Godparents to her designer baby girl planned for the 4th of July. As for the name of the new baby, it is anyone's guess but bound to be obscure!

David Beckham got to know Prince William when they spent time together in an attempt to get the World Cup hosted in England (I think it was that anyway) and more recently over some other charity. Also they were invited to William and Kate's wedding as a result of this friendship. The baby is a designer baby in that its sex was selected as can be done in the USA by selecting embryos of the chosen sex. I Know someone who actually went to the States to choose the sex of their latest child.

Wouldn't it be a refreshing relief if she called her something like Grace or Louisa... not Twinkle or Princess... pft..lets wait and see eh..?!

The baby girl will definitely have a weird name like Versace, Atlanta, Dakota, or something American. Otherwise it will probably be Catherine.

Well, I say yes, but I mean no, actually. I can't see how a once - maybe twice- meeting with the Prince would result in them asking them to be godparents. I know where you're coming from, they used to annoy me too, but I think this is highly unlikely.
Also, I don't think that choosing the sex of your baby can be classed as "designer".
Something tells me you are not a fan of the Beckham's, Stargazer? :P

Maidup, that's what I was thinking. I'm not entirely sure prince William and Catherine would be too overly pleased with being linked to "Brand Beckham". I mean, whatever next, a fragrance in Boots?

Designing the sex of your baby is defined as a "designer baby", but its not besessarily derogatory. I don't mind the Beckhams, just having a bit of fun guessing the name on here that's all.

I think it was more than a meeting or two. They both worked really hard desperate to get England to be selected for the next World Cup and, since then have worked together for another cause. Surely that can be the only reason the Beckham's were invited to the wedding. It is only Victoria,the so called "posh" girl from Essex,who gets up my nose. She is so haughty and whenever a camera is on them, poses and pouts in a most exaggerated manner. I think she is just too jumped up for words.

Genuinely, I know what you're saying. I used to hate the woman. I say "hate", though I just mean she used to seriously irritate me.
However, I have come to the conclusion that the poor mare gets quite a hard time, and for no reason at all. I have slagged her off in the past, but I actually believe she's probably quite a nice lady. You always see her kids behaving really well (as much as we see of them) and I think she's just someone who's trying to do her best when she has quite a lot to live up to.
As for the name of the baby... hmmm... I don't know. It can't be any worse than Jordan's "Princess" though, can it.

I'd read that she doesn't like her smile, too - hence the reason for her pouting.
Unfortunately, this makes her look a bit moody, when she's (apparently) got a really great sense of humour.

I think they come across as a really nice family, as to the Godparents well I doubt it will be royalty, but who knows.

how about Ethel or Matilda ? but will probably be Lady or Princess.Bet this kid ends up like the Cruise child who I personally would like to give the parents a good slap.

I think you may be surprised..and in a nice way... All I hope is the baby is healthy...and as far as I can see the ones thay have already are loved and appreciated for who they are not as any sort of fashion accessory or a way of getting extra pictures in hello magazine
