Having had ANOTHER unsuccessful year in the Wimbledon ballot, i was wondering how all these famous people get seat for the important matches? Yesterday for the Murray match, the camera focussed on loads of famous people in the crowd, from cliff richard to that golfer, to tendulka and some actors. is it really just a case of pay a load of money and get a ticket???

i would say that is a logical conclusion .. yes
I would think that money has a lot to do with it.

A lot of them are personal friends though. I'm surprised that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale haven't managed to go this year to support Roger. Prior engagements and that! Lol!

so if i had loads of money, would i just be able to buy a ticket for the men's final?
its all down to " contacts " !
It's the same for every sport though... Just look at the F1 today. Jude Law was walking about in the pits! Jake and Eddie weren't even allowed in!
They are invited to the Wimbledon Royal box (about 75 seats I think)
A lot of them are hospitality guests of the big corporations (usually banks) who have seats and lunch laid on for their guests.
just seen miranda hart and michael mcintyre!
