I stopped my little fredkins at 18 there was not anything small enough to put In there,we only did It so It would stop little F coming down stairs on Christmas morning but there Is no need now.
Well, my children are only little (5 and 11) so I obviously still do theirs, BUT, my Mum did one for me up until I left home at 17/18... and every year there was a tangerine in the bottom! :-)
I used to make one up for my husband, but it was mainly full of... er... never mind :P
Not quite the same, I suppose,, but my brother-in-law, long gone now but then in his forties, would be quite upset not to get an Easter Egg from his wife.
My little girls are 54 & 51 but if there's no stocking with the orange apple nuts and a small pressie in there, then the lord help us all!! !! and the same goes for the 26 & 23 yearold granchildren and their wife/husband!! If we didn't, would life be worrth living?? mmm
