He may have chosen not to take note of what the PO was up to, it wouldn't be in his company's interest to know; but nevertheless it's the sort of statement he would make in any case.

As top bod he would have many projects on the go with several levels of management under him. Even if he didn't "clock" it himself I'm surprised those more closely connected to Horizon didn't think to refer the problems up the chain. Shameful.
