When do you all think we will stop talking about Jade Goody? As she really done enough wrong to warrant getting this much press? What she did was bad but there as been worse and will be worse in the future plus she wasnt the only guilty one.

Am I a millionaire? No, but I doubt Jade is either.
To be a millionaire - as in to have one million pounds or more, you need to have aquired two hundred thousand pounds a year for five years, spent none of it, and paid no tax. Sound like Jade Goody? Not really.

In my opinion if anyone is to blame it is the makers of CBB and C4. The show has a 5 - 10 time delay on it, it was the makers and C$ who allowed it to be shown that has made it into such a big thing of of it. Because of the time delay they could have edited out all the nasty bits, why didn't they perhaps it was because of falling ratings. It is certainly the most talked about programme in the country, ratings have soared. If they had thought that it was recial or bullying they should have stepped in and told them in the diary room it was unacceptable behaviour and if it carried on they would be evicted. They did with Emma I think that was her name, they separated her from the big brother house and when she went back and it carried on she was evicted through the back door. Shilpa has mimicked everybodys accent told Jade to have elocution lessons, Germaine called the Goody family white trash, why wasn't that included in the bullying and racist comments uproar,it does work both ways. It has played right into the hands of the producers and makers of the programme so please no more on the Jade story, if anyone is a bully celebrity I would nominate Naomi Campbell now she has been taken to court several times and has got away with it so lets pick on her for a change.

What a peculiar definition of a millionaire. So the woman who won about �77,000,000 on the European lottery or the person who wins 5 or 6 million pounds this coming Saturday are not millionaires because they didn't earn the money over five years. Doh! I think if Jade Goody looks at her bank statement and it shows a balance of 3 or 4 million, then she's a millionairess whether andy-hughes likes it or not.
Why do you keep on about Bollywood and big stars, the films they churn out are only watchable if you are Indian, to almost everyone else they are total crap, when did you last see a Bollywood fim on tv on a Saturday night, they are shown in the early hours of the morning , and then i doubt if anyone watches them, so how can she be a big star,she will marry a rich man , like all her sort do.

The illustration I used - and that's what it is, as opposed to a definition - merely points out that someone who has purportedly earned (well been paid anyway) over a million pounds, or four million, or what ever, would need to earn an average of that amount over that time-scale, and I simply point out that it is highly unlikely that Jade Goody has been paid anything like that amount for what she does to earn money - be 'famous'.
Of course people who win millions are millionaires - that bears no resemblence to my point at all.
If Jade Goody looks as her bank account and it shows a balance of three or four million pounds then she is a millionaire - absolutely true. But who'se word do we have for that? The tabloids and magazines for who she is a saleable commodity, and whom it suits to enhance her 'fame' with tales of mega-money. I repeat, I don't think Jade Goody is a milllionaire, or even close to it. I have nothing to back up my statement that she isn't - but neither do you to prove that she is!
As to whether I like it or not, Ms. Goody's finnancial affairs are of less than no interest to me - except as an indication of the trend of creating 'celebrities' from nothing very much at all. As far as I am concerned, the loud ignorant bullying whey-faced pultroon can have the income of a small South American country in her bank account, it matters to me not at all.

I started to respect Jade when she used money to start a couple of businesses.
I thought it was great that a working class girl (ok, I am being nice) could use her noddle enough to go on to BB, act like a complete idiot and become famous enough to acheive the wealth that would turn her life around. I do like a financial succes story.
Then it happened. The businesses closed. Why? because Jade was more interested in her caribbean holidays, being papped outside nightclubs & publicly fighting with whatever boyfriend she has at the time. She wasn't prepared to truly work for herself in that way...so I went back to the way of thinking I had in the first place.

I think they only crucified Jesus once and this is all been blown out of proportion. Jade is too genuine to be a racist and Davina is Channel Fours bitch who is down on her knees and blowing hard. Jermaine Jacksons comments of "white trash" went unreported. So is it one rule for the colours and another for the rest.
