well well well, so it seems that shilpa has herself been in a sketch slagging off "black people" do you pro shilpa people still think she is wonderful??
I find it rather sad that people on both sides of the argument are still bleating on about it, to be honest. I had my say at the time (even though I would never dream of watching B** B****** - either celeb or pleb version), but for Heaven's sake, it's over now. Time to move on, don't ya think?
i have just seen the article on sky news website, and what are you on about,it was yrs ago,and how is somone dressed up as a black and white minstral, racist, get a life mate, and if you were one of the prats who thought she was a victim of racism on bb,i feel sorry for you,get in the real world.
if youd have read my question properly you'd have realised i was not one of those who thought she was wonderful at all, and be it 5 minutes or 5 years ago it shouldnt make any difference, yes the other person was dressed up but but to all intense and purpose he was supposed to be black. littleoldme, if its time to move on why did you bother reading or answering the question???
It does make you wonder if this is the real reason why Shetty reversed her original claim of racism against Jade etc - for fear of being branded hypocritical when this came out. I never trusted her an inch, and it's loathsome the way she's trying to build a career on the back of holding up the race card.
Because my say at the time was about my thoughts on the controversy, and my first post tonight was about my belief that things have gone on quite long enough. Two different things.
I made the second post (and this one) out of courtesy to answer your questions, but it means I've now made three posts on a subject I don't want to discuss! I can see how that might look odd. ;-) Let's just agree to disagree. Have a nice night.
During the broadcasting of CBB, just after the Oxo cube row, Shilpa told Cleo (I think it was) that she was the victim of racism. A day or so later she reversed her decision - but, it is widely believed, that was only because she was asked/advised to, to help quell the storm.
I haven't seen the sky news item referred to, but it seems to me that Shilpa's treatment in the house - which undoubtedly included racist comments, and a sketch she has done in the past are unrelated, surely?
