Houses near Thames

The two houses I am enquiring about are just along from Hurley ( on opposite side of river) towards Henley? They are both white and look as if one of them was maybe once an abbey or something?

That's more Marlow than Henley.

If you go onto Google earth and look at the points of interest that might shed some light further? You could also post a question above the house and someone might tell you? Just a thought.
