Firstly, many congratulations to Heath Ledger for his Best Supporting Bafta award for his role in The Dark Knight. I was never a fan of his but he was astonishing as the Joker in this film and thoroughly deserved the award.
Secondly, and to my mind more importantly, why was he completely omitted from the '' those who have died in the past year '' section of the show? Even if he was getting a posthumous award this was a glaring mistake and those responsible should be castigated.

I totally agree Osprey - I waited, thinking that Heath would be the last one mentioned - but nothing. I know he was mentioned in the awards but he should also have been included in that particular obituary section.

Once again -no argument there - to leave Heath Ledger out of that obituaury was a big mistake and another boob by the beeb! So pleased he won for Best Supporting Actor as his performance in "Dark Knight" was simply brilliant.
It wasn't a mistake by the BBC - a tribute to Heath Ledger was shown at last year's awards, only a few weeks after he died.

I still think he should have been mentioned - a great star. RIP.
