No. This is a totally different scenario to the Thatcher incident. Thatcher refused to apologise for calling someone a golly whereas Anton has apologised profusely, both at the time and in public.

I heard/read that she was supposed to have fled the room in floods of tears. If she has accepted his apology then that should be the matter closed.
