editing adobe reader/pdf's doc's and auto CAD drawings
5 Answers
I have some documents which are just writing in a pdf formart opened in adobe reader which when I highlight I can not delete of make changes ( i can't see that it says anywhere read only)
Also I have some Auto CAD drawings in pdf format which has the company details at the bottom of each drawing I have paid for these drawings but want to use the drawings without further connections to the previous people, because I want unbiased quotes. It lets me see the different layers within the document, the layer the company detail is on also contains alot of other drawing I need to keep. If I highlight the area it wont let the delete it. I would just print and trim but I need detailed specs to email which would be lost by rescanning.
Please help, thanks in advance

"the whole point about pdf's is that they can't be altered once PDF'ed. "
No it ain't. PDFs can be edited as long as the creator didn't set a password to prevent changes.
As I said, you need a pdf editor.
Adobe Acrobat is the original, Foxit also do one. But Adobe are very strict on licensing for editors, so I doubt you'll find a free one.
I gave you a link to the Adobe one. Here's a link to the Foxit one.
