Is Keir Starmer Really Going To Arrest...
News2 mins ago
With the advent of series 2, I was quite looking forward to buying the series 1 DVD boxset, but Amazon only has it in region 1, and I don't have a multi-region player. Amazon is usually fairly reliable - is there no region 2 version? If not, please tell me there are plans to make one!
Thanks.

As long as you have something like Windows Media player on your computer it should be fine. If you goggle 'dvd region decoder download' something should come up.
PS, I'm not sure if you're really 'allowed' to do this, so I do apologise to the AB Ed if I'm promoting illegal activites ^_^
you may find your DVD play can play region 1.
do a Google search for a website called somrthing like
dvd player hack
the site lists makes of DVD players and the buttons to press to change the region. Basically, most machines sold in this country are made for the European market, and the region is set before it leaves the factory. If you know the set-up codes, you can change the region before you put the disc in.
My DVD player was the cheapest on the market a few years ago ( 85 from Tesco ) and I only have to press a few buttons on the player to change regions.
Worth looking into as it will save you spending any money.
