I hope you are all ready to engage with relative newcomer, middlestump, when he sets out his stall tomorrow morning. He will adopt the aristocratic title of “The Count”. Those of similar status include “The Count of Monte Christo” and “Count Dracula” and phrases which come to mind include “Out for the count” and “You can count on me”. Who can tell just what we have in store. We have much to learn of our colleague, middlestump!
At this moment in time, grandson Harry is having a nap to re-charge his batteries. He’s been here for over six hours and I don’t feel in the least bit tired! The reason? Mrs crofter (aka Valerie) has just spent her first day of her retirement from University following acceptance of a good severance/early retirement package. She welcomed the chance to take the lion’s share of the task of keeping Harry entertained and I was happy to oblige.
I am eagerly anticipating the launch tomorrow morning of “The Count”, when he should open the channel of communication on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and his four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. This will be a brand new MM Links challenge and remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!
As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz ( Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz. I was delighted to see that I personally put in a very respectable performance last month on KM Links and hope that this can be repeated over the month of April. Previous experience suggests that I could well fall flat on my face!
However, as I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.
Until we meet again, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!
Just a flying visit to say hello!
I am visiting Christiana this weekend, as I have hired Reg out with his joinery skills.
Catch up with you all over the weekend.
Good evening all, please try to keep the shrubbery clean, as I'm currently in Northern Ireland and hopefully accessing via my mobile 'phone, therefore cannot sweep up.
I hope to be able to make my normal late entries to the links tomorrow evening!
