Can anyone tell me what happened to the guy who wore the hat all the time.He had got in the last 12. I missed the first few minutes of the repeat tonight on ITV2, I just caught where the presenter said, that someone with the highest vote from last week was back. I'm gutted, he was my fave :(

Guy was called Mario and withdrew from the competition for "personal reasons".  No other details were given, but speculation rife that he either wanted to get out of the AI contract because he was getting better offers or that there was some kind of family/personal secret that he didn't want exposed.  Either way, I agree, he was one of the best - shame he decided to leave.

I agree he was one of my favorites  definalty something not right there to drop out so near the end  suppose we will soon see when and if he releases a record with a diffrent company
