Just watching an episode of Minder I recorded on the Digi. It concerns Indians, and Arthur said he was up at Brick Lane and he only saw one white face, and that was David Attenborough. Wonder if they would get away with that these days?

Absolutely no chance!

A little light ribbing concerning the influx of Jamacan and Indian immigrants was considered to be amusing at that time - but like so much of cour culture - times have moved on, and such a comment would not be seen as acceptable today.
