PS do you remeber a episode when Frankie, Drak and Wolfie went in the magic mirror and they wernt animated any more they were like human actors? no one i ever speak to remebers The Groovy Ghoulies anyway :(
I managed to get a copy off ebay about 2 years ago. It's actually titled Groovy Ghouls Kids Collection issued in 1971 a made for TV movie that combined characters from 2 different studios as it also has Daffy, Porky from Warner Bros., and runs for 38 mins. Apparently it's pretty rare as it's in colour when most copies of this video are in colour. It's known in the US as Daffy Duck and Porky Pig meet the Groovy Goolies. I have seen a different dog eared video in my local rental store about 5 years ago which was a compilation of their Saturday morning shows which ran on some kids show quite a while back. Coolest cartoon ever! Along the lines of Rowan & Martins laugh in. Can do a copy if you'd like on VHS with case & cover. Cheers.
man, it's so cool to finally find someone who remembers this awesome 70's cartoon!! groovy ghoulies was the COOLEST cartoon ever on TV!! i have no idea where to buy any of the old videos from, but as soon as someone finds out, cash me in! my brother and i used to watch it all the time as kids... in our pjamas, sitting in front of the heater, eating our cornflakes....ah. good times!
