Is it right that they CAN NOT cut off the supply of water even if the site is abandoned. we have people living in an old waste distribution site and the water is on. We were told by the council that they are not allowed, by law to cut it off, but the site has been empty for 2 years.
I would like to know why it wasn't cut off at the time it was abandoned?
Anybody know what the law states please
