Apologies in advance for how vague this question is going to be! I saw a clip of a performance a while back that was possibly on something like Comic Relief of a man (possibly a Shakespearean actor, maybe Patrick Stewart or Ian McKellan) doing a spoken version of (pretty sure it was) Like a Virgin. The man in question was on stage in a theatre, it was very funny. Any ideas as to what on earth I'm on about would be much appreciated!
