No problem with Matt Smith - but the writing has become too clever for it's own good. Watched last week, but that's the last one.

Jenna, so you found William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant (and to be pedantic Richard Hurndall and Peter Cushing) all fanciable but not Matt Smith?

Matt Smith is shaping up to be my favourite Doctor, but he's got a tough job. DT was probably the most popular Doctor ever, and certainly the first to get gurls(!) to watch the show. He's also a bit too eccentric for the casual viewer.

I do agree that the writing may be a bit to clever for casual viewers too. I'm still not sure went on on Saturday myself!
