Funny, how common it was to have the foreign, dubbed films on for kids on Saturday mornings. The Flashing Blade theme is great. The Red Hand Gang; was that the US one with Matthew Laborteaux who went on to Little House On The Prairie? Chorlton and the Wheelies was a bit scary, especially the witch. Tig, I remember Armchair Thriller...just. The Banana Splits; my favourite bit in the middle was The Arabian Nights
Yes, I remember the Kids from number 47A. I think I've tried to find it on youtube but had no luck. There was a programme on at around the same time called Pardon My Genie.
I loved the black and white Robinson Crusoe programmes in the summer holidays- you can find some of those on Youtube.
I also liked I Love Lucy and Gilligan's Island- but when I watched the latter on Youtube I was quite disappointed to find it wasn't as good as I thought.

Factor, thanks for that theme. There's a noise near the beginning that sounds like a splodge. I think it was one of them stepping in a cowpat. Pardon My Genie - was that the one with Roy Barraclough?
Bib, The Singing Ringing Tree was trippy and scary. Sorry, I too don't remember the Tinderbox :(
Scotty, was it Supercar? Cupid mentions that.
Cris, yes Playaway. Brian Cant was perfect for kids' telly.
