Yep, it was a physalia also called cape gooseberry. it's looks a bit like a cherry tomato but with a papery husk & is very nice in fruit salad or made into jam.
I think they must be following some ground rules which we don't see EH.
In every series they have to do this task and there have always been things that they don't know but you never even see any of them on a laptop.
A couple of series ago they had to find something which was actually some spice used in Indian cookery and one girl came from a family who owned thir own Indian Restaurants!
I think laptops and dictionaries must be out of bounds on this type of task.
