90s TV program, cant think of the name!

hi all, i was talking to my mum the other day about a program we always used to watch, must have been in the 90s or early 2000s. it shows multiple stories that are supernatural or something like that. its not called fact or fiction or the twilight zone.

i think the opening was something like going up stairs and looking through a window but i could be mistaking that for another program. its so very frustrating!

...stories that were spooky or something, things the person couldnt explain... oh its annoying i cant think of it! help!

sorry, I think Tales of the unexpected may have been 70s or 80s

nah wasnt tales of the unexpected and it wasnt amazing stories, im listening to them all on youtube and they dont ring a bell. OH I REMEMBER SOMETHING! i think there was someone talking saying 'its amazing but true' or something! was it calling '.....but true'? something liek that, a word is missing, amazing but true? strange but true! THATS IT! IT WAS CALLED STRANGE BUT TRUE!!!!
