I was quite impressed with the lady herself, how she came across and her music The one thing about the show that really annoyed me was the audience. Why did they have to shout and scream after everthing she said? Have they no self control? What's wrong with them? Cant they just applause at the end? It was thoroughly juvenile and totally unnneccessary. It spoiled what was otherwise a really good show.

I would guess it's because her fans aren't in the 59+ age range.

No, neither am I Sara
I'm sure you understood my point, Dave.
have you never been to a concert and got excited?
It has always been so. I never went myself, but I read that the audience at shows given by the Beatles screamed and shouted so much that the actual singing could not be heard. So the reason they had paid a great deal of money for was denied them. 'There's nowt so strange as fowks'.
I agree Dave it was totally juvenile. It is acceptable for young children to get so excited but as you say the older ones should have more self control. Maybe they scream and shout because that is what they see on TV and they think that is how they should show their appreciation, when simply a polite clap and they end would do.
I didn't watch it. I don't like Lady Gaga.

and I wouldn't expect her fans to behave any other way.
Her fans was born that way!
the age thing again sara tut tut ....wait till you are old
LOL at a polite clap would do...

Would a bravo or maybe a hurrah be pushing it too far?
sounds like a post from the news section chuck
I have been to these type of shows .On the ones that I been at theres a man or woman who promps the audience to cheer at every thing .thats said .I did not know half of what was said so just sat there long faced.

Further on the subject of unruly audiences. Has anyone noticed on most channnel 4 shows where a studio audience is involved, there doesn't appear to be anyone in the audience over the age of 35? These are mostly juvenile shows where swearing, shouting and screaming is the norm. It's the way things are going now with society in general becoming less civilised and more vulgar.
you don't have to watch them, Dave.. obviously you're not the target audience.
Essentially itis a competition to show Gaga that they love her. Youthful exhuberence is all as they may never get the chance to get that close again.

I only saw one song and was disappointed she did not sing live.
Does anyone know if this is repeated? Not on iplayer but on the TV? Thanks
it's on ITV2 at 10pm tonight, and again on Weds at 9pm
