Jane Fonda axed from QVC in US
9 Answers
Apparently viewers took exception to her anti Vietnam stance and she is furious - she was selling her book.
Given that she supported the Vietcong when US soldiers were still fighting over there they have a point.
Also she talked thousands of women into buying her fitness video saying it would make them look as good as she did whilst all the time she was having plastic surgery to most parts of her body (not the only only one to lie about this though). No wonder QVC dropped her!

While there, she was photographed sitting on an anti-aircraft gun laughing and clapping."
she made a massive apologies afterwards but is still very much anti-war and has publicly denounced all current engagements. in 2005 a man (viet vet) queued for 90 minutes at a fonda book signing. when he got to the front, he spat tobacco juice at her. so sentiment hasn't really passed over the years.
